A jam session is, in essence, a casual encounter of musicians with affinity to each other that improvise music for their own enjoyment. With the spirit of a jam printing session, artists
Ronald de Bloeme,
Wernher Bouwens,
Christoph Ruckhäberle,
Thomas Siemon and
Edouard Wolton got together during several weeks of 2014 in the
Carpe Plumbum printing workshop in Leipzig, in order to work in this collaborative, intense and original project,
Printjam.

The work of those sessions allowed each author to create a big format
xilography (woodcut print) (95×138cm) and 143 collaborative unique xilographic stamps, also on a big format. They also edited a collaborative book of almost 100 pages of which 300 copies edited by
Lubok were printed. All the pieces were gathered in an exposition that has already been shown in Leipzig and Barcelona.
